There are some minimal requirements to add a cluster to NYSGrid.

- Resource Manager/Scheduler functional
- 5 Gig of space in /opt/grid for OSG install (name/mountpoint can vary)
- 5 Gig of space in /grid-tmp for OSG data (name/mountpoint can vary)
- Ability to add users to cluster
- Ability to adjust firewalls if needed
The OSG software stack is supported on a limited set of operating
systems. The OSG software stack only gets installed on the gatekeeper
node, so it is not a requirement to have your entire cluster with a
supported Operating System, only the gate-keeper node. The supported
operating systems for OSG 0.8.0 are listed at:
