Datasets
Astronomy
- Massive Pulsar Surveys using the Arecibo L-band Feed Array (ALFA). A massive survey of radio pulsars run by the worldwide Pulsar-ALFA Consortium at the Arecibo Observatory uses the Arecibo L-band Feed Array to obtain simultaneous data streams in seven fields at 1.4 GHz. Original telescope data (beginning in 2004) are archived at the Cornell CAC, along with processed data products.
Climate
- The IRI/LDEO Climate Data Library contains more than 300 datasets from a variety of earth science disciplines and climate-related topics. Users can access any number of datasets; create analyses of data; monitor present climate conditions with maps and analyses; create visual representations of data, including animations; download data in a variety of commonly-used formats.
- High Resolution Daily Temperature and Precipitation Data for the Northeast U.S. Daily minimum and maximum temperatures at 5 km resolution and precipitation data at 4 km resolution for the Northeast United States are available via Web Services developed at the Cornell Center for Advanced Computing (CAC). These weather data extend from 7/2/2004 through yesterday for the temperature data and two days ago for the precipitation data.

Gateways
Geospatial
- Geospatial Electronics Records portal at CIESIN, Columbia University, serves as a portal to resources on managing and preserving geospatial data and related electronic records.
Socioeconomic
- SEDAC Socioeconomic Data and Applications Center at CIESIN, Columbia, provides access to more than 20 NASA sponsored datasets focusing on the integration of socioeconomic and earth science data and to serve as an information gateway between the earth sciences and social sciences.
